One of the themes of this film about the 1960s is how different types of people respond to the joy and pain of leaving home after high school.  Watch for this theme in the movie and then answer the following prompt:

Which of the characters in the movie do you think you identify with the most and why?  Do you want to stay in Sacramento after you graduate from high school or move somewhere else.  Explain.
